안소현은 20세기 이후 현대미술을 공부하는 프리랜서 연구자다. 2025년에 홍익대학교 예술학과에서 스위스 큐레이터 하랄트 제만에 관한 논문으로 박사학위를 취득하고, 현재 미적 체험의 장으로서 전시 매체를 중점적으로 탐구하고 있다. 이질적인 것들이 만남에서 비롯되는 다채로운 의미 생성 과정에 커다란 흥미를 느낀다. 

서로 다른 문화를 매개하는 번역 작업에도 관심이 있으며 현재 미술 전문 번역가로 활동 중이기도 하다. 2025년 홍순명 작가 연구 자료집 『Hong Soun: Sidescape & Memoryscape』(사비나미술관, 서울), 2023년 니콜라 부리오의 『플래닛 B. 기후변화 그리고 새로운 숭고』(이안북스, 서울) 등 여러 역서 작업에 참여했다. 영어와 프랑스어 번역이 가능하다. 

I'm a freelance researcher dedicated to post-20th-century art. I've been exploring the exhibition as a medium of aesthetic experience, since earning my PhD in Art Theory and Criticism from Hongik University in 2025, with a dissertation on Swiss curator Harald Szeemann. I'm fascinated by how meanings emerge when different worlds intersect. 

In tandem with my research, I work as a translator specializing in art, with an interest in translation as a mode of cultural mediation. Recent projects include the English translation of Sidescape & Memoryscape (Savina Museum, 2025), the Korean rendering of Nicolas Bouriaud's Planet B: Climate change and the New Sublime (IANNBOOKS, 2023). I work across Korean, English, and French.
